My honest cash advance app review
I see lots of reviews on cash advance apps. Here is my unfiltered review as someone who has used all of them over the past 6 months.
As someone who is using these on a regular basis I can give you the best ones for what I use — without the fluff. I am assuming you need the cash now. Instant transfer. Not the 1–2 day wait.
These are my invites. Tilt is first: tilt.com/r/O6FKXE — we both get $30, which covers your first 3 monthly subscriptions. EarnIn: referral.earnin.link/3bBafX — we both get $35. MoneyLion: code $sumgrids at mlion.us/$sumgrids — up to $55. Limits and fees move. What I got is what I got.
If you only pick three
I keep three on my phone when I actually need money today.
1. Tilt. They give the most and charge the least. Quick, easy, no hidden fees. I’ve been using Tilt when I need extra cash. If you qualify it’s $10–$500. Use my invite and we both earn $30 — that covers the first 3 monthly subscriptions for you.
2. EarnIn. Still great. $3.99 a transfer. On my account they cap me at $100 each time. My link — we both get $35.
3. MoneyLion. Not bad. About $8.99 per $100. Get up to $55 if you join with my code $sumgrids — mlion.us/$sumgrids.
The rest — what I actually thought
Dave
Fine if you’re in a bind. The fees are too much. They almost get $50 from you each time you cash out, and they started splitting the cashout into two. So you pay that fee twice now. I don’t start here anymore.
EarnIn
$3.99. $100 cap on my pulls. I still use this every month. If you want the $35, use this link.
Klover
Tricky. They charge a fee, and you also have to pick up rewards to get more. The fee is a little hefty next to the others. There are deals on their site where if you sign up with their partners you can get the max payout from them for a few months. I only mess with it when that path is worth the homework.
MoneyLion
Not bad. They charge about $8.99 per $100. I use it. Join with code $sumgrids — mlion.us/$sumgrids — and you can get up to $55.
CreditGenie
They gave me a good limit to start. Fees aren’t unbearable. I only use them if I really need it.
Tilt
This is the one I send people to first. Most cash, least fee. $10–$500 if you qualify. No hidden fees. My invite — we both get $30, and that covers your first 3 monthly subscriptions.
Albert
Haven’t had luck. The most I get for a cash advance is $200, and when I do that it goes to my Albert account, then I have to transfer it to my bank, and I only get $194 in the account — plus they take a fee. Too many steps. Too much missing.
Brigit
Good. Lower amount. Minimal fee. $205 out, $207.99 back. I’ll take that math.
Super
Only gives you $100 from what I’ve had, and you have to sign up for their monthly subscription and a few other things. I never took any money from them. Too complex. Too much information. Skip.
Cleo
Decent. I’ve been able to get $300. You have to pay the monthly fee. That’s the whole review.
Grid
Good app, small money. I’ve only ever gotten $50 from them. If you need a real amount, it hasn’t helped me.
Gerald
Someone asked me about this. It sucked. I had to pay the monthly fee before I even got the estimate of my cash amount. The estimate wasn’t even good. Don’t.
Vola
Same flavor as Gerald. They made me pay the subscription first — $19.99 — then I could get a loan between $100 and $200. That was the max. Don’t recommend.
What I do
I need these every month. I start with Tilt when I need it today. EarnIn and MoneyLion are the backups. I don’t pay a subscription just to see a number. I don’t use Dave’s split cashout. I don’t wait in Albert’s extra transfer to lose six bucks on the way to my bank.
I’ll keep updating this as I try more.

Got a question? I’m on X. I’ll try to answer them.
