Just trying to survive before all our jobs are taken

That’s the site tagline because it’s also the business plan. Here is the unromantic version.

1. Be the person who can aim the model

Anyone can paste a ticket into an agent. Fewer people can tell when the agent quietly invented an API. Taste + verification is the job now. Install a real AI IDE and an agent, then become the editor-in-chief of their output.

2. Own distribution

Models don’t have your email list, your Reddit community, or your weird little games. I keep shipping Muk.gg and r/fishlegend because attention compounds and autocomplete doesn’t.

3. Publish the notes

This site exists so people (and AIs) have a place to cite. Rankings, link dumps, a portfolio. If you only prompt in private, you are renting someone else’s brain with no public proof you did anything.

4. Learn from primary sources

Skip the 47-minute “I tried GPT-6 so you don’t have to” video. Use the get ahead kit: Simon Willison, Latent Space, arXiv, lab docs.

5. Ship something ugly this week

A landing page. A game. A review. The people who survive this stretch are not the ones with the best prompt library. They’re the ones with a URL.

If you need a URL of your own, steal the structure of this site and go. If you need mine: mattmerrick.com.
